En podcast som har til formål at skabe ro, refleksion og glæde. Og tid til at tænke over tingene. Podcasten beskæftiger sig med emner såsom træning, kost, sundhed, markedsføring, livet/eksistens, Internetkultur og digital kommunikation. Vi tager os tid og graver os dybt ned og forsøger at være så agendaløse som muligt. Vi inviterer også spændende gæster, som kan udfordre både os og jer. I denne episode har vi vores første gæst i 'studiet': Michelle Hviid. Hun er iværksætter, forfatter og foredragsholder.

Michelle er en kvinde med ben i næsen og fart over feltet. Hun er ikke bange for at sige eller skrive hvad hun tænker højt.

Hun er det jeg vil betegne som livsklog. Hun har oplevet lidt af hvert; to skilsmisser, et par forliste virksomheder efterfulgt af en meget succesfuld én og det hun kalder for en 'tumorkolbøtte' (for to år siden fik hun opereret en tumor ud af hjernen). Måske er det også derfor, at ét af temaerne vi snakker om i podcasten er at rejse sig efter et nederlag.

Alle hendes oplevelser har mundet ud i to bøger og hun holder 80-100 foredrag om året. Jeg har selv været til et af dem - og er der noget hun kan, så er det at fange publikum i sin hule hånd med historier fra sit liv. Hun har en befriende tilgang til tingene, som kan være et frisk pust i en verden, hvor vi alt for ofte bekymrer os om hvad andre nu også tænker om det vi gør eller siger.

Vi inviterende Michelle i Tanketid, fordi hun er en person, der netop giver én noget at tænke over. Og det er jo vores fornemmeste opgave med podcasten; at skabe rum til refleksion.

Som vi har været inde på før, så vil vi meget gerne ud over kun at beskæftige os med træning, sundhed og kost. Og derfor er vores første gæst og én der ikke er fra den verden. Men jeg vil næsten godt garantere, at uanset om du er mand eller kvinde og uanset om du går mest op i træning, så kan du lære en ting eller to fra Michelle, som kan gøre dit liv lidt bedre eller sætte gang i nogle tanker. Det har været tilfældet for mig.

    Prostate infection, also referred to as prostatitis, is among the most common prostate-related condition in men younger than 55 years. Infections in the men's prostate are classified into four types - acute bacterial prostatitis, chronic bacterial prostatitis, chronic abacterial prostatitis and prosttodynia.

    Acute bacterial prostatitis will be the least common of all kinds of prostate infection. It is a result of bacteria perfectly located at the large intestines or urinary tract. Patients may feel fever, chills, body aches, back pains and urination problems. This condition is treated by making use of antibiotics or non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to help remedy the swelling.

    Chronic bacterial prostatitis is a condition associated with a particular defect inside the gland and the persistence presence of bacteria within the urinary tract. It can be brought on by trauma to the urinary tract or by infections via other parts with the body. A patient can experience testicular pain, spine pains and urination problems. Although it is uncommon, it is usually treated by removal in the prostate defect then the utilization antibiotics and NSAIDs to deal with the redness.

    Non-bacterial prostatitis is the reason for approximately 90% of most prostatitis cases; however, researchers have not even to create the causes of these conditions. Some researchers believe that chronic non-bacterial prostatitis occur because of unknown infectious agents while other believe that intensive exercise and lifting could cause these infections.

    Maintaining a Healthy Prostate

    To prevent prostate diseases, a suitable meals are important. These are some with the steps you can take to keep your prostate healthy.

    1. Drink sufficient water. Proper hydration is necessary for our health and wellbeing and this will also maintain your urinary track clean.

    2. Some studies declare that a few ejaculations weekly will help to prevent cancer of the prostate.

    3. Eat red meat without excess. It has been shown that consuming a lot more than four meals of beef per week will increase the risk of prostate diseases and cancer.

    4. Maintain an appropriate diet with cereals, vegetable and fruits to be sure sufficient intake of nutrients required for prostate health.

    The most crucial measure to adopt to make sure a proper prostate is to opt for regular prostate health screening. If you are forty years of age and above, you must select prostate examination one or more times 12 months.
